In a preliminary arraignment held Dec. 9, six Lehigh football players were charged with felony criminal trespass for allegedly breaking into an off-campus home seeking vengeance for an attack on a fraternity president.

On Dec. 2, a criminal complaint was filed against wide receiver Dylan Parsons, ’19; defensive back Maxwell Frankel, ’19; and linebackers Noah Robb, ’16; Jacob Scott, ’19; Mark Walker, ’19; and Michael Gies, ’19. All six students posted bail.

Police previously charged defensive back Brian Githens, ’16, for a felony count of burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief. According to court records, Githens, a brother of Chi Psi fraternity, had broken into an off-campus student home on the 600 block of Pierce Street and punched resident Samuel Hernandez, ’17, in the face while the victim was asleep.

According to reports, Githens told police he entered the home seeing revenge for an assault on his fraternity president, but admitted that he had “likely” targeted the wrong home.

Chi Psi fraternity was recently placed on interim suspension for allegations including trespassing and assault motivated by retaliation, engaging in harassment and discrimination, and endangering the health and safety of students.

The suspension has since been lifted as the chapter was found not guilty of two of the three charges.

Following today’s preliminary arraignment, a preliminary hearing for the six players is scheduled to be held Dec. 30.
