Due to a large snowstorm in the Lehigh Valley and much of the eastern coast of the United States, Lehigh Athletics has announced that four of its five scheduled events for this weekend have been postponed, according to Lehigh Sports.

Three of these events were expected to take place at Lehigh while the fourth, the men’s basketball team’s matchup with Lafayette College, was planned to take place in Easton.

New start times were named on Friday afternoon for all four of these postponed events. First, the men’s basketball (5-13, 3-4 Patriot) game has been moved to Monday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Easton. The women’s basketball (11-7, 4-3 Patriot) game, also against Lafayette, was moved to Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 5 p.m., right before the men’s basketball team’s game against Colgate University, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Stabler Arena.

Both the men’s (5-4, 3-2 Patriot) and women’s (6-2, 3-2 Patriot) swim and dive teams were supposed to face Bucknell University on Saturday at 10 a.m. in a meet at Jacobs Pool, and the event was changed to 2 p.m. on Sunday, but that has now been postponed as well. The women’s team originally had a scrimmage meet scheduled against Princeton University on Sunday, but it was canceled.

No immediate dates have been chosen to make up the meet with Bucknell. As of now, the swim and dive team’s next meet will be on Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. against Drexel University, its final meet of the season before Patriot League Championships.

The Lehigh-Lafayette indoor track meet was originally moved from Saturday to Sunday at the Rauch Fieldhouse, but this has now been postponed indefinitely with no determined makeup date. As of now, their next meet will be the Thundering Herd Invitational on Jan. 29-30 in Huntington, West Virginia.

No. 6 Lehigh wrestling (11-1, 6-0 EIWA) competed in its meet as scheduled on Saturday against No. 15 Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, defeating Cornell 25-13.
