Power outage in Iacocca Hall forces evacuation

Update: Power has been restored to Iacocca Hall, according to a LU-ALERT sent at 11:33 a.m. Facilities is working in the building to verify that all systems are operating properly. The building can be reentered.

A power outage has been reported at Iacocca Hall, according to a LU-ALERT sent at 8:22 a.m. The repairs are expected to take four hours.

As of 9:30 a.m. the building is being evacuated until power is restored because of potential safety hazards. An update message will be sent when power is restored and the building can be reentered.

The Lehigh University Police Department did not have any further information regarding the outage.
