Express bus to run to reduce delays due to construction

An express bus will be running on lower campus Oct. 21, according to a tweet from Lehigh University. Due to construction and heavy traffic that was experienced Oct. 20 on the mountain, the university is running a bus that will be only making stops on lower campus.

The bus started running at 8:30 a.m. It is labeled as “charter” on the bus tracker in the Live Lehigh app and at bus.lehigh.edu. The bus has a sign that says “Go Hawks.”

One bus will be running to Mountaintop from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Saucon Village shuttle will also be stopping at Mountaintop.

Lehigh’s Mountaintop bus route usually runs from Packer Avenue all the way up to Mountaintop Campus and Iacocca Hall, with buses scheduled every ten minutes. The Oct. 21 express bus will not be completing this entire route.
