UPDATE: In a Nov. 13 email, Lehigh Chief of Police Edward Shupp said the suspect was identified and apprehended after investigation by the Bethlehem Police Department and the Lehigh University Police Department.

    —

A female student reported that a man approached her and touched her upper body on Tuesday, according to an email to the Lehigh community from Lehigh Chief of Police Edward Shupp. The incident occurred at the intersection of Hobart and Fourth streets, which is in the vicinity of Donegan Elementary School.

The incident was reported around 11 a.m., and the Bethlehem Police Department is investigating with the help of the Lehigh University Police Department. The student said the man was Hispanic and around 20 years old, according to the email.
