Arts and Culture:

Derived from the American classic “Of Mice and Men”, “Of Mothers and Men” explores the varying relationships between women, their mothers and the men in their lives.

The event will feature music and dance performances by Chinese, Indian, Iranian and Vietnamese student clubs and a costume show by the Fulbright Association. Traditional coffee from the Turkish Students Club will be available as well.

A grad student’s online ad lures a mysterious journalism student to his subterranean research lab under the pretense of an evening of “no strings attached” sex. Their date soon takes on evolutionary significance.

Members perform with the orchestra and join together for a performance of the Academic Festival Overture to commemorate Lehigh’s 150th year.

The 88th Academy Awards are this Sunday night. Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at the ArtsQuest Center is providing a final screening of the Oscar nominated short films for the live action and animation categories on Saturday. Steel Stacks is about a 15-minute walk from Lehigh’s Farrington Square. The theater is also showing Oscar-nominated feature films such as “The Revenant,” “Brooklyn” and “Spotlight.”

Live-action shorts show at 1:30 p.m. and animated shorts show at 3:45 p.m.
