Freshman guard Kyle Leufroy added 17 points, including going 9-for-10 from the free throw line. He made 5-of-6 free throws in the final 30 seconds of the game to help maintain Lehigh’s lead.
The Mountain Hawks appeared to be running away with the game early in the second half, leading by as much as 19 points. However, Navy went on a 25-4 run to eventually take a two-point lead with 6:58 left in the game.
Following the win, Lehigh will host No. 6 seed American University on Sunday at Stabler Arena.
