Provisional charter revoked for Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity

The provisional charter for the Upsilon Nu chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity at Lehigh has been revoked, which means the chapter is no longer recognized by the national organization, according to a post on the Lehigh Greeks blog.

The post stated that because of this, the chapter will not move to a full charter status and the chapter is now closed.

“While the chapter had a short-lived tenure, the impact has been 10-fold across our campus community and within the local community,” the post said. “The eight men that joined the organization and subsequently graduated are also the highest caliber of students one could hope to work alongside, and it has truly been a pleasure.”
