Alpha Tau Omega fraternity placed on suspension

Alpha Tau Omega fraternity has been placed on suspension following allegations of violations of the university code of conduct, according to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs blog.

This suspension stipulates that no chapter events can be held either on campus or off campus. Also, newly initiated members cannot have any contact with brothers.

The chapter president of the Alpha Rho chapter and alumni president could not be reached for comment. Carter Gilbert, the Assistant Director of OFSA for Alpha Tau Omega, deferred comment to Chris Mulvihill, dean of student conduct, who said he cannot comment on pending investigations.
