    Arts and Culture:

    • Lehigh Women’s Empowerment Summit, Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Rauch Business Center

    A celebration of the accomplishments of women on this campus and a recognition of their struggles. This summit will focus both on the trials and achievements faced by Lehigh women in a three-part event meant to foster education, engagement and collaboration to all that attend.

    • Theatre: Gem of the Ocean:, Friday – Sunday, (Fri/Sat) 7:30 p.m., (Sun) 2 p.m., Zoellner Arts Center

    Gem of the Ocean is the ninth play in Wilson’s ten-play Pittsburgh Cycle that chronicles a century of African-American life.

    • UP Comedy: Roy Wood Jr. & Jordan Klepper, Friday, 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Zoellner Arts Center

    Two correspondents from Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” will be performing stand up comedy at Zoellner Arts Center. Buy your tickets online, at the door, or at the UC. $5 for students.

    • UP Movies: Creed, Friday, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m., Whitaker 303

    Watch the newest film of the Rocky series, “Creed.” Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his famous father, boxing champion Apollo Creed, who died before Adonis was born. However, boxing is in his blood, so he seeks out Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and asks the retired champ to be his trainer.

    • Kappa Delta Shamrock ‘n’ Roll , Saturday, 7 p.m., Lamberton Hall

    Lehigh’s Theta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta will hold its third annual Shamrock benefit concert for Project Child, a child abuse prevention coalition that operates within the Lehigh Valley Area. The goal is to raise $8,000 for the prevention of child abuse. Eighty percent of the proceeds will stay in the community to fund the work being done by Project Child. The remaining twenty percent will go to Prevent Child Abuse America.
