The Paul Short Run was held on the Goodman Campus cross country course on Thursday and Friday, bringing over 7,000 athletes from more than 600 high schools and colleges to Lehigh University. High school teams competed in a total of six races on Thursday, but only two of eight races in competitive divisions were held for the college men’s and women’s teams as elevated temperatures led event organizers to halt the race Friday in the interest of runner safety.
