Hip-hop artist French Montana was announced as the new headliner for tonight’s University Productions’ QUEST concert after a last-minute cancellation by Rae Sremmurd.

A post by University Productions in the event’s Facebook group said the originally scheduled hip-hop duo would not longer be performing due to “external circumstances.”

There will be no refunds and the event will go on rain or shine, the post said.

Minni Kim, ’16, a music executive for University Productions, confirmed French Montana is booked for the concert. He said University Productions does not know the details of Rae Sremmurd’s cancellation.

French Montana is an American rapper who is best known for his songs “Choppa Choppa Down” and “Shot Caller.” The headliner is set to perform at 10 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks.
