Students stormed out onto the snowy sidewalks after the Packer Express broke down near the Williams bus stop this afternoon. The bus struggled to climb the now-closed section of Sayre Drive near Williams Hall and Drown Hall.
At the time, the buses were operating on Transportation Service’s snow schedule, which went into effect at 1:30 p.m. today.
University police are monitoring the situation in accordance with weather-related incidents.
“We’re tied up with people stuck around campus,” said an LUPD officer.
All campus bus services will end at 5:20 p.m. today due to the inclement weather, Transportation Services announced in an email sent around 2:30 p.m. This includes TRACS service, which is cancelled tonight.
The University will close at 4 p.m. today due to weather conditions. There will be no classes after 4 p.m. and no evening classes, the university announced through a Lehigh Hawkwatch Alert this afternoon.

No, they didn’t storm out onto the snowy sidewalks. They filed out, they disembarked goodnaturedly, maybe one or two stomped off bitching but they’re not a football team leaving a locker room or a legion of mothers with baseball bats. Please find this girl a thesaurus and show her how to use it. Or, failing that, an editor.
