Having a car on campus has been pretty inconvenient these days.  As the undergraduate population grows, parking availability diminishes.

Depending on where students park, a Lehigh parking permit can cost anywhere from $450 to $500, but even students who pay the price are finding that they cannot find parking.

And students pursuing cheaper parking solutions are being fined around Bethlehem.

The Lehigh Parking Office and Bethlehem Parking Authority has not commented on this issue.

Labor shortages are causing restaurants like Jenny’s Kuali to close.

Pennsylvania has lost over a 100,000 workers since the pandemic started.

But, for other restaurants in the Southside area, like Roasted and Molinari’s, the shortage has provided more job opportunities.

On September 2nd, a mural was unveiled outside the Banana Factory to be placed permanently in the Bethlehem Public Library.

The mural was created to commemorate the Puerto Rican community of South Bethlehem,

Which makes up close to 30% of the Southside area.
